  This is probably one of the best schools I have been too. I spent 3 years there 2014-2017 and it was amazing. I wish this school had a 9th grade so I can spend an extra year. I knew pretty much everybody in this school and had so many friends. I also learned so many life lessons. On top of that, I met Mr. Ercoli and Mr. Colletti who were my favorite teachers of all time. I love everything about I.S. 237.

  I go to a different school in the same building so I can’t say I know everything but I’ve seen enough to review this school. First off, I dislike how this school, which only goes up to middle school, is allowed to take over most of the first floor of the building, the huge staircases, and have access to the smaller staircases, while my school is always cramped up in the smaller staircases. Based on what I’ve seen in the hallways, the students here are pretty rude and loud, it seems like most are friends. Just a couple of weeks ago, I heard that a sixth grader was pushed to the wall by these students when she went up the wrong staircase. However, I know there are still very nice people at this school as some of my friends’ sisters go here and they seem nice.
